Designed to be a low-cost timber production sawmill that can be installed quickly and easily, the LT20B is a popular all-in-one solution for small- to medium-sized timber businesses as well as larger businesses looking to diversify into new products more easily.
The LT20B cuts logs up to 80 cm in diameter and 4.8-8.4 m long with the standard bed options. In order to cut longer logs, bed extensions can be added to extend the sawmill bed to any required cutting length. The LT20B bed’s low height is uniquely designed for affordable production purposes. All log handling features are manual operated. Logs are secured to the bed by the log clamp and adjustable backstops. Toe boards adjust for log taper with a manual crank.
The LT20B sawmill head retains the same productivity features of Wood-Mizer’s premium range. With the standard electronic SW Setworks, simply select the board thickness required and the head height automatically positions for each cut - no waiting for manual calculations. Forward and reverse movement is made by the variable speed power feed.
A water tank feeds lubrication directly to the blade to improve cutting performance and keep the blade clean. The adjustable blade guide arm keeps the blade well-supported while cutting different sized material. Blade tension is easily adjusted, and keeps the blade at the proper tension for cutting. Wood-Mizer’s wide range of affordable blades are designed for all cutting requirements, and deliver maximum log yield and minimal waste of the valuable timber.
