The MY PROJECT 2017 contest is open for entries from Wood-Mizer customers in Europe who have built projects with their own sawn timber. Special prizes will be awarded to the best projects.
Wood-Mizer’s ‘My Project’ contest was launched for the very first time in 2015, and received 40 project submissions from all over Europe. The contest is dedicated to recognising sawmill owners who build projects with wood they have cut themselves. Sawmills are used to produce many interesting types of projects, and this contest will be a great way to display the variety of things people can make with their own timber.
You can see the variety of projects people made with their own timber and submitted to the contest in 2015 at this page. Perhaps their creativity will you with new ideas for your next woodworking project!
If you have made a project from timber cut on your Wood-Mizer sawmill, it is easy to enter the contest. Simply fill out the online form here, upload some nice pictures, and you are finished!
The contest is open for submissions January 1 and is closed on September 29, 2017. In November 2017, Wood-Mizer will select the best projects, and award prizes to the winners!
There are three project categories: BUILDINGS, FURNITURE, and OTHER PROJECTS. Each category will have three winners. Awards include a winner plaque, a watch, a miniature replica of a Wood-Mizer sawmill as well as a credit voucher for future purchases of Wood-Mizer products, blades or services.
