Richard Mulder has a part time business making wooden playground equipment, and his wife runs a venue that hosts parties and weddings. When his wife needed more space, Richard put his experience to good use, designing the new building without needing an architect.
He designed it to go together prefabricated, choosing to make the walls 200 metres away from where the building was to be located. With the LT40 sawmill, they were able to produce all the timber sizes they needed for this specific project.
The building is used for weddings and parties inside.
“We could not have made it without the sawmill,” he says.
